hey, i'm rachel!
First, I want to say thank you. Thank you for purchasing or even just visiting and sharing our site. I fully understand that success begins with you, the customer, and every last bit of support for Sandy Goat Soap means the world to myself and my family.
I started Sandy Goat Soap for a couple of reasons but mainly from my cravings for creamy oh-so-dreamy goat milk soap. If you have never tried it, you need to indulge! Our soaps will leave your skin so silky soft and nourished, you won't want to use anything else! All of our soap and body treats are handmade here on the Gulf Coast of Florida, with fresh, natural ingredients that are safe for you and everyone you love.
Another big reason is... my family! I wanted to create a business that I could stand behind, one that I truly believed in and was proud of. When Sandy Goat Soap was born, it just felt like a step in the right direction, you know? As a family we have had a love of all things natural, including goat milk soaps and body products, since forever basically. I believe it is so important to pay attention to what you treat your skin to and while you can't avoid everything everywhere (especially chocolate, don't ever avoid that, ha!), you can choose healthier body care products, and still have a fun and colorful bath experience!
got a soapy question? just ask coco!
Coco is our fun loving, beach going little goat mascot. She spends her days soaking up the Florida sun, rolling around in the sand and munching on everything in sight! She stands behind her products 100% and if you have any questions or concerns at all, she'll be happy to help. She is sea-ee-eeerious about making sure you have the best experience ever from using her line of soaps, body treats, and essentials!
a note about our sponges.
What exactly is a sea sponge?
Sponges are sea plants that continue to grow even after trimming, just like most land plants do and this means sustainability! You will love Sea sponges because they are filled with natural enzymes that inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria, making them toxin-free and hypoallergenic. Bonus!
Ok, How do I care for it?
Your sea sponge will last a very long time, as in years, if proper care is taken. Squeeze out excess water, never twist! Also, keep dry when not in use.
Our sea sponges are locally and responsibly harvested from the Gulf Of Mexico.
